Caohejing signed a co-operation agreement with the Italian Intesa Sanpaolo Group recently to provide financial support for Sino-Italian enterprises.
Before that, it had inked co-operation agreements with Milan and Bologna Entrepreneurial Associations, becoming China's first development zone to co-operate with Italian counterparts, said a senior manager from Caohejing.
Milan and Bologna are Italy's important industrial and commercial centers. The former has technological advantages in environment protection, new energy, auto parts and bio-medicine, while the latter focuses on industrial machinery, mechanical engineering, meters and instruments, automobile and motorcycle manufacture.
``The Sino-Italian co-operation is a stimulus to the exchange and co-operation of mutual enterprises,'' said the manager.
The co-operation includes economy, trade, investment, science and technology as well as employees' training.
``We aim to promote the mutual development,'' the manager said.
To date, Caohejing has established co-operation relationships with 14 overseas high-tech industrial parks as well as organizations.
